Hippo Campus Release New Video for “Honestly,” Add New Tour Dates

Indie-rock outfit Hippo Campus have shared their new video for “Honestly,” the latest cut from their sophomore album Bambi, and a string of new North American tour dates.

Filmed on VHS cameras (or likely plug-and-chug VHS filters), the discolored video (dir. Brittany O’Brien) is a tour diary of sorts, finding the band standing around in gas stations, wearing Korean beauty masks, and riding Bird scooters and skateboards in venue parking lots.

The video is all good fun and shenanigans, a semi-stark contrast from the heartsick and serious songwriting on the track, and Bambi as a whole. Sadly, no touring-band debauchery worth censoring is shown … or maybe it is already censored.

The band have announced additional tour dates with The Greeting Committee and independent festival dates set for later this summer.
