After traveling to the far reaches of outer space with Jefferson Airplane, bassist Jack Casady and guitarist Jorma Kaukonen went back to the land with the rootsy sound of their side project, Hot Tuna. Garnering a strong cult following during the 1970s, these lifelong friends have continued touring and recording to this day, with dates this summer in the US and Europe in support of their latest release, Steady as She Goes. As a prelude to these shows, Jack and Jorma were kind enough to stop by the Vault to perform a set of classic Hot Tuna numbers, as well as a touching song from the new album destined to be a favorite.
