Hotline TNT Sign with Third Man Records, Shares “Protocol”

Hotline TNT, the project of NYC singer/songwriter Will Anderson, have just announced their signing to Third Man Records. To coincide with their new label home, Anderson and company have unveiled “Protocol,” a roaring, ripping rock joint that conjures the alt-rock patterns of Teenage Fanclub and shoegaze levels of static sound. Since the band’s 2021 debut Nineteen in Love, they’ve become indie rock beloveds and DIY fixtures. “After the fall, I pretend that it’s all my fault,” Anderson sings. “But I need you to call.” Through distortion and cosmic, layered vocals, “Protocol” is a bright, subdued four minutes of rock ‘n’ roll. We can’t wait to see what Hotline TNT cook up next.

Listen to “Protocol” below.
