J Mascis Releases Lyric Video for New Single “Everything She Said”

J Mascis has released a lyric video for his new single “Everything She Said” off his upcoming solo album Elastic Days, out Nov. 9 through Sub Pop Records.
“Everything She Said” is a jangle-pop dream, the sort of melodic, jammy alt-rock track that’s been missing from the mainstream since the days when alt-rock was called college rock. It’s really a gorgeous song, and J Mascis’ uniquely forlorn vocal timbre is a perfect match for its acoustic shamble. In fact, there are times where his drawl can almost fool you into thinking you’re listening to a country song.
J Mascis will be touring for the remainder of the year. Those dates can be found below.
