Watch Jack White Rap and Sing the Band-Aid Theme Song on Colbert

Jack White appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Friday night to perform “Ice Station Zebra,” one of the weirder tracks from his weird new solo album, Boarding House Reach. The performance featured White rapping through several vocal-modifying microphones, as well as two drummers, some jazz piano and a trademark ripping guitar solo.

White also joined Colbert for a game called “Jingle More of the Way,” where the pair jokingly added some extra verses to famous commercial jingles, like the inescapable Toys “R” Us song (“You just can’t flee mortality / we are all but toys to God…”). It’s tough to tell what’s sillier: Jack White rapping, or singing the words “The third best part of waking up / Is remembering that she left you.”
