A New Japandroids Album is On the Way

Canadian rock band Japandroids have announced a new album that will be released next year. The album, titled Near To The Wild Heart Of Life and due out in 2017 on Anti Records, will be the band’s third, and their first new material since 2012’s Celebration Rock.

A teaser video was posted on YouTube earlier today that shows black-and-white footage of the band, ending with revealing the album’s title. This news comes after the band has played a string of reunion shows, which they announced in August.
