Watch Japanese Breakfast’s Rebellious “Everyone Wants to Love You” Video

Japanese Breakfast have released the defiant yet ancestral video for “Everybody Wants to Love You.” Co-directed by frontwoman Michelle Zauner and frequent collaborator Adam Kolodny, who previously worked with the band for the “In Heaven” and “Jane Cum” videos, “Everybody Wants to Love You” is the third installment of their Psychopomp music video trilogy. The clip stars Zauner binge-drinking, dancing and riding a motorcycle through the city, all while dressed in the traditional Korean hanbok that her mother wore to her wedding.
“Everybody Wants to Love You” comes from 2016’s Psychopomp, titled after the Greek word meaning “guide of souls,” in honor of Zauner’s late mother. Japanese Breakfast are currently on tour with Porches and have announced a European fall tour. Find those dates below and watch “Everybody Wants to Love You” above.
