Jeff Parker Shares Cover Of Georgia Anne Muldrow's "Blackman"

The latest release from Jeff Parker, the Chicago-based artist perhaps best known as a member of post-rock icons Tortoise, is a family affair. A cover of “Blackman,” a track originally recorded by L.A. neo-soul singer Georgia Anne Muldrow, features vocals from his daughter Ruby and is presented with artwork by his son Ezra. Knowing that only adds to the joyous glow that this tune gives off, a smiling spirit that goes well with its lovestruck lyrics and bubbly groove.
