Images via Interscope Records/YouTubeJessie Ware has shared a mysterious video for her new single “Midnight.”
The visual seems simple enough, featuring Ware wandering through the city late at night.
There is, however, an eerie mood set by the lighting and short cuts of an unidentified body floating in the water. Ware teased on Twitter that there may be more to the story.
The Midnight video is out now ? Directed by my talented friend Tom Beard. Keep your eyes peeled for the prequel…https://t.co/6o3wQWCCk3

This is the first we have heard from the soul-pop songstress since her well-received 2014 sophomore album Tough Love, and for good reason, considering she welcomed a daughter last year.
“Midnight” first debuted late last week on BBC Radio 1 as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World. The single is set to appear on Ware’s third studio album, which is arriving later this year, according to a recent interview with The Fader. Besides a few impressive writing and production credits, including Francis and The Lights, Cashmere Cat and Ed Sheeran, not much else is known about the project.
