Chicago’s Joan of Arc have announced a headlining 2017 U.S. tour in support of their forthcoming new album. Written and produced by the band, He’s Got the Whole This Land is Your Land in His Hands is their first LP in five years, and is due out on Jan. 20, 2017 via Joyful Noise Recordings.

“We had to throw away the 38 songs I wrote that I thought I liked before we could really begin,” frontman Tim Kinsella said of the recording process in a statement. “Once we had 16 distinct units, then me and Melina sat down and wrote the lyrics.”
