It’s a banner day at Paste when one 2016 Best of What’s Next pick covers another, and that’s exactly what you’re about to enjoy.

Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin shared a cover of “Paul” by Brooklyn-based indie outfit Big Thief, and it’s as breathtaking as you’d expect.

Jacklin’s serene performance was filmed in New York City in beautiful black-and-white by ubiquitous music photographer Shervin Lainez.

“Sang the song ‘Paul’ from one of my favourite albums to come out this year, ‘Masterpiece’ by Big Thief,” Jacklin wrote in the video’s description.

“Thanks to @JuliaJacklin for her beautiful cover of our song Paul,” Big Thief tweeted, stealing the words right out of Paste’s collective mouth.
