The fourth annual Eaux Claire festival—curated by Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and The National’s Aaron Dessner—kicked off on Friday in Vernon’s hometown of Eau Claire, Wis. They also announced the lineup on Friday, as Vernon wanted to make the announcement a surprise by holding onto the bill until the last minute. While Bon Iver was not scheduled to play, Vernon and Dessner were slated to take the stage together as Big Red Machine.

Other artists that took the stage in Wisconsin were Dirty Projectors, Noname, Phoebe Bridgers, Pussy Riot, Julien Baker, Mouse on Mars and Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry. Saturday night, fest-goers watched Vernon, Moses Sumney, and Francis and the Lights perform a cover of Bob Dylan’s “I Shall Be Released,” which you can watch below.

Last month, Vernon and Dessner launched a beta version of their online streaming service PEOPLE and announced the second annual PEOPLE festival, to be held in Berlin. Last week, their music as Big Red Machine, which was previously only available through PEOPLE, became available for streaming on Apple Music and Spotify.

Watch Vernon and company’s Dylan cover below, and hear Dylan himself perform the track circa 1999 further down.
