Kanye West Announces Yet Another New Album, Yandhi

Kanye West has revealed via Twitter and Instagram that his next album will be titled Yandhi, and it will be out Sept. 29 through GOOD Music. He also shared the album art, featuring a blank CD in a jewel case, a clear homage to the cover of his 2013 Yeezus.

The announcement comes amidst a host of other claims from ‘Ye. He was recently announced as the musical guest for the season 44 premiere of Saturday Night Live, which will be airing the same day as the ostensible album release, Sept. 29.

He also confirmed on Monday at an OpenMike event with Chance the Rapper that he and Chance would be releasing a new album as well, titled Good Ass Job.

‘Ye claimed at this same event to be moving back to Chicago for good, following rumors of a Yeezy office being headquartered in the city. Earlier this month, he also teased a sequel to 2011’s Watch The Throne, claiming it to be “coming soon.”

If the claims are true, it would push what has already been a busy year for ‘Ye into the stratosphere. His eighth album ye was released in June of this year as part of a string of GOOD Music album releases, including Pusha T’s DAYTONA and the Kid Cudi collaboration Kids See Ghosts. There were five albums in total, all of which Kanye had a hand in producing. He’s also released four singles, the most recent of which was “I Love It” with Lil Pump, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard chart.
