Kanye West Cancels Remainder of Saint Pablo Tour
Photo by Christopher Polk/GettyAlthough Kanye West is known for his erratic behavior, fans have recently been left missing the old Kanye. The bombastic rapper began a downward spiral last week and has now canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour dates.
West’s Saint Pablo tour started strong with rave reviews over his innovative floating stage design, but quickly fell out of favor as Yeezy began to cut performances short. Fans remained optimistic as Kanye added more tour dates, but reached a breaking point last Thursday, Nov. 17, when he went on a pro-Trump rant during a show in California, a historically blue state. Things continued to escalate over the weekend, with more prematurely ended performances, coupled with longer rants taking aim at figures such as Mark Zuckerberg, Google, Jay Z, Beyonce and radio as a whole.
Kanye abruptly canceled his show at the LA Forum last night, Nov. 20, which was ironically a makeup date for the Nov. 3 performance he cut short due to losing his voice. Both Los Angeles Times staffer Gerrick D. Kennedy and ABC News anchor Veronica Miracle tweeted reports—initially unconfirmed by West or his reps—of a complete cancellation of the Saint Pablo Tour, citing unnamed sources.
Just got word from a source that @kanyewest informed his crew that remaining dates of U.S. #SaintPabloTour are nixed.
