Watch Kanye West’s Star-Studded Video for “Wolves”

“Wolves” is the latest single from Kanye’s much-acclaimed latest album The Life of Pablo to get a music video, this one a significant departure from the extremely controversial, NSFW clip that accompanied “Famous.” For starters, unlike in “Famous,” all celebrities featured in “Wolves” are wearing clothes—in fact, the clothes are the focal point of the video. West collaborated with French fashion house Balmain to produce, style and present the video, directed by Balmain’s head designer and creative director Oliver Rousteing.

Rendered completely in black and white, footage flickers between an eerie, deserted forest, a wild party, a fashion show—with all models decked out in head to toe Balmain, of course—and close-up shots of West singing with tears streaming down his face. Celebrity cameos include a number of personalities from the worlds of fashion, music and entertainment: Cindy Crawford, Kim Kardashian, Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn, Kylie Jenner, and of course Vic Mensa and Sia, who are featured in the song.

The clip, equal parts disturbing and awe-inspiring, serves doubly as a promotion for Balmain’s fall/winter 2016 campaign, of which West is the star. Observant viewers will be able to spot Kanye donning the same embellished Balmain biker jacket he wore to this year’s Met Gala, for which both he and wife Kim Kardashian were awarded the coveted Best Dressed Couple title by Vogue.

Check out all the visual decadence to be found in the “Wolves” video above, as well as the latest version of the song, which has undergone several transformations since the release of The Life of Pablo.
