In the last few weeks, Kendrick’s been featured on Rapsody’s “Power” and Rich The Kid’s “New Freezer,” and now, for YG Hootie’s “The City,” he gets to kick back and lay some clever lines over a beat from DJ FU (of Mike Will Made It/Eardrummers). “Every time I rap it’s with the extras,” he says. True.
