Kevin Morby’s fifth album, Oh My God, came out this April to near-universal acclaim. Following a European tour this fall, he’ll be hitting the road again across the U.S. in April. If Morby passed over your city earlier this year, you might have a chance this time around: He’ll be making stops in several cities he missed this spring. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, Oct. 18, at 10 a.m. local time.
Calling all Morby superfans: Along with the new string of dates, Morby has announced that he will be auctioning off his snazzy City Music tour suit, pictured above, for charity. The proceeds will go to Tour Support, a division of the suicide prevention foundation LightHopeLife that offers resources and counseling to musicians and touring professionals. In a statement, Morby explained the sentimental value of the suit and shared some of the notable events at which it made an appearance:
This suit is very special as it was the first of many made by my good friend Judith at RoseCut clothing. I went on to wear it on a few special occasions in 2017 including the City Music video shoot, my performance at Bonnaroo as well as a short east coast tour which included my first sold out show at my favorite venue, The Bowery Ballroom.
