Kyle Craft & Showboat Honey Release New Single/Video, “Broken Mirror Pose”

Kyle Craft showcases his signature glam-rock sound in the video for his new single with Showboat Honey, “Broken Mirror Pose,” released Tuesday via Sub Pop Records.

The new video, directed by the band, depicts a ‘70s-esque performance in which they rock out as red and yellow lights dance around the Portland recording studio where it was filmed.

Craft, whose lyrics and and electric guitar hooks have drawn comparisons to Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones, is no stranger to vintage sounds. From his aviator glasses to his commanding stage presence, his blend of past and contemporary rock is evident in the new video.

“Broken Mirror Pose” is out now along with “2 Ugly 4 NY,” both from the band’s forthcoming album Showboat Honey, digitally and physically out worldwide on July 12. Craft previously released two LPs with Sub Pop, 2017’s Girl Crazy and 2018’s Full Circle Nightmare, and has since gained years of tour experience.

To support the new album release, the band will embark on a national tour beginning on July 11 in Portland, Ore., at Mississippi Studios and concluding on Aug. 24 in San Francisco at Cafe Du Nord.
