Lala Lala Announce Reissue of Debut Album Sleepyhead

Frontwoman Lillie West has announced the reissue of Lala Lala’s 2016 debut Sleepyhead, set for release on LP and CD for the first time on Aug. 23 via Hardly Art.
Previously only available via cassette and digital release, Sleepyhead’s new pressings arrive with new artwork and a fresh set of cassettes. LP copies will also be made available on cloud-colored vinyl.
West’s unembellished and self-produced and -released album marked the emergence of the musician’s sharp, direct songwriting, and would go on to catch the attention of Lala Lala’s current label, who signed the band for their 2018 studio debut, The Lamb.
Sleepyhead will debut Aug. 23 via Hardly Art, and you can check out the album’s tracklist, artwork and biting lead single (the first song West ever wrote) “Fuck With Your Friends” below.
