LANY Plot Colossal 2019 Malibu Nights World Tour

Riding the excitement of their second album, LANY have announced a colossal 2019 world tour dubbed the Malibu Nights Tour.

The tour is in support of the band’s sophomore album, Malibu Nights, released earlier this year. A follow-up to the band’s debut self-titled in 2016, the album saw frontman Paul Klein lamenting lost love and dealing with his heartbreak through synth-pop, emo breakup ballads—a vein that has become the group’s bread and butter, and proven, unsurprisingly, to attract young audiences en masse.

As part of their “moon era,” the band have already completed a handful of headlining dates this year in the first phase of Malibu Nights touring. Continuing the era, next year’s 75-date-spanning run, produced by Live Nation, will run from February through August. Beginning in Russia, the middle chunk of dates will take place in North America before the band returns to Europe. Ticket sales begin on Friday, Nov. 16.
