LCD Soundsystem Curating, Headlining a Music Fest in Mexico Called Beach Vibes Festival

Shortly after the band’s return in 2015, LCD Soundsystem are headlining and curating a new three-day music festival in Riviera Maya on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula with help from CID Entertainment. Beach Vibes Festival will take place from Jan. 26-28, 2017, and will include performances from Hot Chip, Run the Jewels, Carl Craig, DJ Harvey, Holy Ghost!, The Black Madonna, Poolside, Horse Meat Disco, Museum of Love, Eric Duncan, Juan MacLean (DJ set), Shit Robot, Tim Sweeney, Felix Dickinson, Lovefingers, Heidi Lawden and others still to be announced. LCD Soundsystem will have shows during two nights of the festival.

The inaugural festival also includes off-site daytime adventures like ziplining, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing and cave explorations. A press release describes the event as “an immersive Beach Vibes experience [that] will offer guests the opportunity to explore the local landscape during the day.”

Tickets for Beach Vibes go on sale July 11 at 1 p.m. EST, and presale begins on July 8 at 1 p.m. EST. For more information on the festival, see the full lineup below and visit the event website here.
