LCD Soundsystem Playing Five Nights of Shows to Open Brooklyn Steel

We still don’t have any news of a fourth LCD Soundsystem album, but today does bring good tidings of great cheer for fans of the stellar dance-punk group.

Starting April 6, at Brooklyn Steel in NYC, the James Murphy-helmed outfit will play five nights of shows to officially open The Bowery Presents’ newest venue.

There aren’t any announced openers for the group’s five-night run yet, and tickets don’t even go on sale until Thursday, but AXS and The Bowery are already doing everything possible to prevent any kind of scalping. Concertgoers are limited to two tickets apiece per event night and “across the five-night run,” and The Bowery seems to be holding back some tickets for in-person purchase on Thursday, March 30, at 11 a.m. EST, an hour before tickets go on sale at BoweryPresents.com.

While you wait for a chance to snag a pair of tickets to one of the five shows, listen to Paste Cloud audio from a 2007 LCD show, check out the band performing “All My Friends” live at Madison Square Garden back in April 2011, and find out where they landed on our list of 2016’s best live acts here. You can also find the poster for the band’s five-night run below.
