Let’s Eat Grandma Cancel U.S. Tour Dates
Photo by Charlotte PattmoreLet’s Eat Grandma have had to cancel their forthcoming U.S. tour dates, with the exception of their Coachella shows, due to tragic circumstances. Jenny Hollingworth, one half of the British duo, took to Twitter Tuesday to break the news that her boyfriend Billy Clayton has died. Clayton had battled bone cancer for more than three years.
“Billy was not only my boyfriend but also my best friend who inspired everything that I do and I feel completely devastated to have lost him,” she wrote.

The multi-instrumentalist added that she and Rosa Walton will go ahead and play Coachella “as a tribute to Billy and his memory.” Clayton, himself a musician, had hoped to one day travel to and play in Los Angeles.
Let’s Eat Grandma released their sophomore record I’m All Ears last year. Their canceled tour dates were in support of the album, which landed them on multiple best of 2018 lists. Our hearts go out to all involved during this most difficult of times.
