Cult folk singer Linda Perhacs is reportedly missing
The singer-songwriter was discharged from her residential care facility eight months ago.

Linda Perhacs, the folk singer whose 1970 album Parallelograms received widespread acclaim decades after its initial release, is currently missing, according to her management. The 82-year-old Perhacs, who released her second and third albums in 2014 and 2017 after being rediscovered in 2008, was living in a residential care facility when she disappeared eight months ago. A post on the singer’s Instagram reads: “Legendary singer-songwriter Linda Perhacs was discharged from a residential care facility approximately eight months ago under the supervision of her legal guardian. Since then, friends and longtime collaborators have been unable to reach her and repeated attempts to contact her guardian have reportedly gone unanswered.”
