Listen to Run The Jewels’ Remix of Lorde’s “Supercut”

Run The Jewels have released a new remix of Lorde’s “Supercut” ahead of their upcoming tour dates together.

“Supercut” is taken from Lorde’s critically acclaimed second studio album, Melodrama. In Paste’s review of the album, Emily Reily wrote, “Where Pure Heroine was her global, future-forward debut, Melodrama is the red-eyed, no-rules afterparty, where the lost and loveless go for comfort.”

The new El-P-produced remix of “Supercut” takes Lorde’s pulsing synth-pop/dance track and turns it into an ambitious, robotic rap and synth-pop crossover with Run The Jewels’ Killer Mike and El-P chipping in a few forceful, dynamic verses of their own. Our anticipation of RTJ 4 just continues to grow.

“i love it. so much,” Lorde wrote of the remix in her newsletter, per Pitchfork. “my little nerd heart is full.”

Lorde’s upcoming “North American Dance Tour” will feature Run The Jewels, Mitski and Tove Styrke. The tour kicks off tonight in Milwaukee and concludes in Nashville, Tenn. in April—find the full dates here.
