M.Ward has released a music video for “Slow Driving Man” from More Rain, which was released in March of this year.
Directed by Carlos Foster, the video has a sleepy feel to it, with dark, hazy images of Ward driving through a city at night. His Monsters Of Folk bandmate and fellow indie-folk singer-songwriter Conor Oberst also makes an appearance as a passenger of the slow-driving car.
“Slow Driving Man” is the fourth song from More Rain to get a visual, preceded by “Girl From Conejo Valley,”“Confession” and “I’m Listening (Child’s Theme).” More Rain is M. Ward’s nostalgia-tinged eighth studio album, and his first since 2012’s A Wasteland Companion. Four years have passed, but Ward has been busy with his copious collab projects, including being the “him” half of She & Him with Zooey Deschanel and playing guitar on Neko Case’s latest release.
