Like a cool, smoke-laden breeze, Mac DeMarco is back on the road in 2019 with some substantial stops and a new album on the way.
In addition to sets at Bonnaroo and both weekends of Coachella, DeMarco’s tour will include a plethora of West Coast dates, including a two-night stint in Seattle. The list also notes his previously announced international festivals such as Best Kept Secret and Primavera Sound. Closing out his tour, he’ll be taking the gamble that is a late-season Red Rocks date in October.
The tour announcement also came attached to plans for new music from DeMarco sometime in 2019. Details of the follow-up to 2017’s This Old Dog are still pending, but a press release reveals that it will be the debut release on DeMarco’s previously announced record label called Mac’s Record Label, just in case you forgot who we’re dealing with.
