Madeline Kenney Shares New Single “I Drew A Line,” Announces US Tour

In the wake of last month’s announcement of her new LP A New Reality Mind, out July 28th via Carpark Records, Madeline Kenney has unveiled the album’s latest single, “I Drew A Line.” The track weaves deftly between swinging saxophonic riffs, bouncy electronic arcs and trippy, self-harmonizing vocals, a swift-paced celebration of the forward motion Kenney has taken personally and professionally since her last EP, 2021’s Summer Quarter.

“I Drew A Line”‘s music video features Kenney swinging her hips and jokingly mimicking an oh-so-serious phone call as bright, crayon-y animations flow through and around her. Kenney’s energy is palpable, the creative propulsion of a breakup and subsequent self-reckoning gliding her into a new musical era.
