Mastodon have followed up the release of “Sultan’s Curse,” the first single off their forthcoming album Emperor of Sand, with another new track.

“Show Yourself” is a surprisingly catchy—but still heavy-as-hell—song from the progressive metal band. While it features fierce instrumental work all around, from the searing guitar solos to the relentless pounding of the drums, the melodies from singers Troy Sanders and Brann Dailor are the kind that stick in your head in a way few metal bands can manage while still rocking this hard.
