“My next project, I will be introducing a new lady. Her name is Suga. She’s besties with Tina Snow,” she told NPR back in October. Megan’s other personas, Tina Snow and Hot Girl Megan, embody her no-bullshit attitude. It seems that Suga will be no exception.
“B.I.T.C.H.” samples Tupac’s “Rather Be Ya N***a,” with bars that detail her reclamation of terms that are meant to shame women: “I’d rather be a B.I.T.C.H. / Cause that’s what you gon’ call me when I’m trippin’ anyway.”
“Diamonds,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and Normani, dropped just last week as a single from the Birds of Prey soundtrack. Suga will also feature a hot list of collaborators, so far revealing that Kehlani will be featured on the album.
