Metallica Release New Song “Atlas, Rise!” and Accompanying Video

Fans and Guitar Hero developers, rejoice: Metallica just released a searing jam of a new song, “Atlas, Rise!” from their forthcoming double-LP Hardwired…to Self-Destruct.

They also made a video to go with it, a behind-the-scenes look at the process of recording a Metallica track. It looks smooth and problem-free! It probably isn’t.

Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, Metallica’s 10th studio album, will be out Nov. 18. Watch them play “Atlas, Rise!” above.
