Moaning Release Synth-Laden New Track, “Tired”

Los Angeles post-punk trio Moaning have released another new track from their forthcoming, self-titled debut album, out on March 2 via Sub Pop.

Their new track, “Tired,” follows recent singles “Don’t Go” and “Artificial,” and while it maintains the band’s melodic foundation, it takes a more synth-driven direction than their previously released tracks.

“Tired,” featuring frontman Sean Solomon’s signature deadpan lead vocals, is also accompanied by a new video that features surrealist imagery like a mouse in a dollhouse bathtub and, later, pieces of the dollhouse on fire.

Hailing from the L.A. DIY scene and having recently scored a support slot for Preoccupations, Moaning are another one of many exciting, young post-punk bands like Montreal’s Ought and London’s Shame.
