Those looking for a dose of high-energy guitar rock this spring have reason to rejoice. Modern Baseball have announced a tour that will see them travel across the U.S. Filling out the bill for the entire tour are Kevin Devine & The Goddamn Band, Sorority Noise, and The Obsessives.
The tour comes on the heels of a big year not just for Modern Baseball, who continue to ride a wave of success in the wake of their acclaimed third album, Holy Ghost, released last May, but also for Devine and Sorority Noise, who both also had new releases in 2016 and are carrying that success into the new year. The Obsessives announced plans for a new album out this year, and Sorority Noise will be putting out their own third album, which will be their first for Triple Crown Records.
The tour begins on March 17 with a show at the Paramount Theater in Huntington, N.Y., and takes the bands looping around the country until April 22, when they will finish things off with a show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, N.J. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 6 at noon.
