Modest Mouse And Brand New Will Co-Headline A Summer Tour
Josh BrastedModest Mouse and Brand New are teaming up for a summer tour that will visit mostly outdoor venues across the United States starting in late June and continuing through July.
The two bands are billing this as a co-headlining affair, and in this case, that means they’re actually going to switch off who opens and who closes. On Modest Mouse’s website, the tour dates are color-coded to indicate which band will play second. It’s a cool sort of arrangement, not quite reminiscent of the Elton John-Billy Joel shows but close. It wouldn’t be too surprising to see the bands play on a couple of each other’s songs.
Tickets go on sale on Friday to the general public. The pre-sale is already live.
