Moon Duo Announce Two-Album Series, 2017 Tour, Release Debut Single

Portland psych-rockers Moon Duo have announced their fourth album, Occult Architecture, which will be released in two separate volumes. Vol. 1 will be released on Feb. 3 via Sacred Bones, while details of Vol. 2 are still forthcoming.
The follow-up to 2015’s Shadow of the Sun is a two-part concept album built around the hidden patterns of our world, focusing on the light and dark energies of the Chinese Yin and Yang theory. Vol. 1 embodies the dark qualities of Yin, meaning “the shady side of the hill.” Accompanying the album announcement is the aptly murky debut single, “Cold Fear.”
