Morgan Wallen fan pees on family of four at Baltimore concert
An intoxicated concertgoer allegedly urinated on Troy Grevelding, his wife, brother, and niece at M&T Bank Stadium last weekend—the latest in the string of bodily-fluid incidents plaguing concerts this summer.

Two years ago, we had Brat Summer. Last year, the exhausting summer of nothing. This year, I regret to report, seems to be The Summer of Pissing and Shitting at Concerts.
After Olivia Rodrigo admitted she’s smelled her fans’ feces-filled diapers (worn to ensure they won’t miss a single song or lose their spot) from the barricade last month, the flood gates—by which I mean the bowels—opened. Some girl “started picking actual pieces of poop out of their butt and put it on the floor” at a Noah Kahan concert. A massive dookie had to be mopped off the ground at a 5SOS show. At another 5SOS show, someone intentionally pissed themselves in GA and sprayed perfume to cover the smell. The bar for concert etiquette is on the floor—and so is all this human excrement.
And it has, perhaps unsurprisingly, already gotten worse. At a Morgan Wallen show in Baltimore this past weekend, a drunk man allegedly urinated directly onto a family of four, including an eight-year-old girl. According to TMZ, Troy Grevelding, his wife, brother, and niece were watching the Sneedville singer perform at M&T Bank Stadium when they felt streams of liquid running down their legs from behind. They turned around to see an intoxicated, belligerent man with his penis out. A brief confrontation followed, and the family alerted security: a now-viral video shows officers informing Grevelding that an arrest would not be possible, as they had not personally witnessed the altercation.
“And there’s nothing we can do about a guy physically pulling out his dick and pissing at me right now? Nothing we can do? In front of an eight-year-old girl?” Grevelding asked, rightfully appalled. A chorus of officers stared blankly at him and replied in the negative. The family then left the premises, forgoing the rest of the concert entirely. Since then, though, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police has confirmed that “an active and open criminal investigation into this matter” has begun.
Unlike the previous piss and shit incidents, I don’t think this culprit’s motivation had anything to do with being a die-hard fan who’d rather commit public indecency than miss “Last Night,” and instead has everything to do with him being a wasted asshole, but this is now the third story I’ve had to write about fans relieving themselves at shows in nearly as many weeks. I think it’s safe to say there’s something in the water this summer—and I don’t just mean cryptosporidium.
