Sumney’s first full-length was 2017’s Aromanticism, which was followed by one of Paste’s top EPs of 2018, Black in Deep Red, 2014. The rising neo-soul star, one of Paste’s best new artists of 2017, has been teasing his sophomore effort for months, at turns promising an “Emo Hip Hop Metal” album and “a gospel album,” with “a country song” and a Dwele feature. Consider us intrigued.
