Natalie Prass appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden Wednesday night to perform the sensational “Short Court Style” from her sophomore album The Future And The Past.

Shimmering in holographic periwinkle, Prass commands the stage, grooving to a slinky bass beneath glittering disco ball speckles, her light but soulful voice recalling Blondie’s delicate vocals in “Heart of Glass.” During the song’s instrumental break, she even shows off her savvy synthesizer skills.

Prass has spent the last year gaining momentum, playing increasingly larger venues and opening up for the Grammy-sweeping Kacey Musgraves earlier this year on her Oh, What A World Tour. She will appear at The Ryman with Musgraves in March followed by a run of North American headlining dates in April.

Check out a video of the performance below, along with Prass’ 2012 Daytrotter Session and tour dates.
