New Order and Pet Shop Boys Team Up for Fall North American Tour
Images courtesy of Nick Wilson, the artistsBritish new wave bands New Order and Pet Shop Boys will be co-headlining the North American Unity Tour this fall, with a variety of artists opening for them during the 11-show run. It will kick off in Toronto on Sept. 5 and wrap up in L.A. on Oct. 2.
Both bands emerged during the British electronic music wave during the 1980s, but still find steady acclaim from both nostalgic listeners who lived through the era, and newfound post-punk and electro-pop listeners. Most recently, New Order released the live album ?(No,12k,Lg,17Mif) New Order + Liam Gillick: So it goes.. in 2019, with their last studio album being 2015’s Music Complete. Last month, Pet Shop Boys released their 14th studio album, Hotspot.
