After releasing one of last year’s best albums, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds are bringing their acclaimed live show to 18 theaters and arenas across North America, starting with a Minneapolis, Minn., stop on Sept. 16. Weyes Blood, aka singer-songwriter Natalie Mering, will provide support on select dates.
Cave and company will play 15 shows in the States and three in Canada, with stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn, Toronto, Atlanta, Nashville, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle, among other North American cities. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m. local time via NickCave.com. American Express card members can get tickets early starting Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. local through Thursday, Feb. 20, at 10 p.m. local.
Cave and Mering are both touring in support of career-best records: Cave and The Bad Seeds released their 17th studio album Ghosteen in October of last year, while Mering released her latest and greatest Weyes Blood LP, Titanic Rising, in April 2019. Both albums landed on Paste’s list of 2019’s best, with the latter taking the very top spot.
