Watch the Poignant New Lyric Video for Norah Jones’ “Tragedy”
Images via YouTube, Larry Busacca/Getty Music Video Norah JonesNorah Jones just released a lyric video for “Tragedy,” a lament about alcoholism off her new LP Day Breaks. The video follows a lone waitress who elegantly skates and dances around a roller rink.
The song was already (fittingly) tragic, but these new visuals enhance the poignancy still further: the graceful dance emphasizes the song’s aching beauty and the dim, retro set lends the lyrics a timeless feel.
Dancer Candice Heiden is incredible. We don’t see enough roller skate dance routines in this world.
Jones begins her fall tour tonight. Check out her dates below, and watch “Tragedy” above.
