Daft Punk Proteges Parcels Share Live “Tieduprightnow” Video
Images via Kitsuné/Because MusicIn our Stefon from SNL voice: New York’s hottest club is a city rooftop where Australian five-piece Parcels are playing. The Berlin-based Daft Punk proteges have shared the visuals for their tune “Tieduprightnow,” filmed while the group was in town for a sold-out Bowery Ballroom show.
“Tieduprightnow” is bubbly and fun, like if you threw a beach party and then replaced the sun with a giant disco ball. The song was released last month ahead of the band’s debut full-length album, which is set to drop later this year on Kitsuné/Because Music, and has since tallied more than 5 million streams.
The band has been making big money moves recently, making their U.S. television debut in 2017 on Conan with their Daft Punk co-written and produced single “Overnight.” The band also made their U.S. festival debut at Shaky Knees earlier this year.
