Paul McCartney Joined by Krist Novoselic on ‘Helter Skelter’ During Seattle Tour Stop

In one of rock history’s stranger and more unnecessary moments, Paul McCartney fronted a reunited Nirvana, so it seems apropos that fellow bassist Krist Novoselic joined Macca onstage Sunday night in Seattle to perform The Beatles’ heaviest song, “Helter Skelter.”

Novoselic took over the dirty bass tones that surely rubbed off on Nirvana during the In Utero days while Paul handled vocal duties, even cutely adding Ringo’s famous cry, “I’ve got blisters on my fingers.” Watch video of the performance below.
