Paul McCartney to Release Two New Singles Tomorrow

Last week, Paul McCartney’s Instagram profile took on a mysterious new aesthetic, leaving many fans to wonder if new music was on its way. On June 9, he confirmed suspicions when he performed a surprise show in Liverpool, during which he premiered one of two new songs, “Come On To Me.” On Tuesday, it was announced that he’ll release “Come On To Me” and another new track called “I Don’t Know” tomorrow, June 20, as a double A-side single.

The two tracks are the first singles from McCartney’s new studio album, due out this fall via Capitol Records. There aren’t many other details about the new album yet, but you can check out the A-side single art for “Come On To Me” and “I Don’t Know,” down below. A press release describes the former track as “a raucous stomper that fans that first spark of chemistry into a rocking blaze” and the latter as “a plaintive, soul-soothing ballad as only Paul can deliver.”

The former Beatle is also headlining Austin City Limits in October. See that festival’s whole lineup here.
