Here’s Everything Paste is Streaming Via Facebook Live Today, Nov. 3

Music News Pearl Jam

In case you went to bed early last night like a responsible adult and have been hunkered down under a rock ever since, the Chicago Cubs won game seven of the World Series in thrilling fashion, defeating the Cleveland Indians in extra innings in the first baseball game several of us at Paste had watched in years. So in honor of the Cubbies’ historic victory, 108 years in the making, we are dedicating our Facebook Live streaming slate for the day to the newfound joy of the former longest-suffering team in sports.

We kicked things off this morning with a 1976 performance from Steve Goodman, which you can watch here, and read Paste’s own resident Cubs superfan Bonnie Stiernberg’s feature about here. This afternoon, we’re following that up with shows by Pearl Jam (fronted, of course, by Cubs-obsessed Eddie Vedder) and Nikki Lane (who happily hopped on the bandwagon during a recent Chicago tour stop).

Here’s exactly what (and when) we’re streaming today:

– 2 p.m. EST: Pearl Jam @ Shoreline Amphitheatre, Oct. 2, 1994
– 4 p.m. EST: Nikki Lane @ The Living Room, Oct. 20, 2011

Tune in on Paste’s Facebook page here, leave us a “Like” if you have one to spare, and find our archive of past live-streamed videos right here. Go, Cubs, Go.
