County officials “disappointed” in Phish concertgoers’ behavior at Indiana shows

Phish just played three nights at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana over the weekend, and it seems like everything went according to plan: The jam band legends played for over three hours each night, and concertgoers brought various recreational substances to last them the entire set. On Monday, however, the Hamilton County prosecuting attorney’s office issued a statement on Facebook—the average Phish fan’s preferred social media site—saying it was “disappointed” in the amount of “illicit behavior” that occurred during the shows.

“As a result of the efforts by officers with multiple law enforcement agencies, significant quantities of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, methamphetamine, LSD, heroin, fentanyl, MDMA, marijuana, and nitrous oxide were seized,” the statement reads, adding that five concertgoers were arrested for drug-related felonies. “Officers also identified several individuals with outstanding warrants, including an individual with an out-of-state warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.” It’s unclear how exactly the attendees with outstanding warrants were identified.

“While the vast majority of concertgoers aren’t dealing drugs and endangering the safety of others, officers will find and hold accountable those who are,” the statement concludes. “Law enforcement will not tolerate the wrongdoers who threaten the safety and enjoyment of those who just want to enjoy the show. Enjoy the rest of the 2026 concert season!”

Incidentally, Phish’s 2024 residency at Las Vegas’ MSG Sphere inadvertently made headlines after one attendee somehow snuck a bong inside.
