French indie-pop quartet Phoenix have teamed up with A.G. Cook for a remix of their recent single, “Fior Di Latte,” taken from their latest album, Ti Amo.
Cook, producer and founder of London-based electronic pop label PC Music, transformed the Italian disco-pop original track into a sparse EDM-pop tune with stuttering synths and at times deliberately brash and discordant soundscapes.
Phoenix recently announced a five-date residency at Brooklyn Steel in July. They will also headline the Air + Style festival this weekend in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park.
