Watch Phosphorescent Perform “New Birth in New England” on Kimmel
The performance comes amid the final leg of the band's tour

Phosphorescent appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday for a rendition of “New Birth in New England,” off the band’s latest, C’est La Vie, out now through Dead Oceans.
The lead single off C’est La Vie gets the full-band treatment, with singer Matthew Houck accompanied by a full seven-piece ensemble including slide guitar, dual organs and a chorus of back-up singers. The appearance comes in the midst of the band’s tour, which is wrapping next week, with a few festival appearances announced for 2019—find their complete itinerary further down.
