Pink Floyd to Release The Early Years 1965-1972, Massive Box-Set With Rare and Unreleased Tracks
Image via Pink Floyd RecordsPink Floyd have shared the details of their enormous forthcoming box-set chronicling their history from 1965-1972. Per Rolling Stone, the set will include audio of unreleased demos, outtakes and full songs and DVDs of television appearances, concert performances, interviews and three feature films.
The set, titled The Early Years 1965-1972, consists of 27 discs, replica seven-inch singles, poster and flyer memorabilia, and seven books, which also house the discs. It’s pretty much a collection of every little music-related move the band made during their first seven years of existence. The track count comes to a grand total of 130, and the hours of video footage total more than 15.
