Pom Pom Squad, the New York City-based punk band, returned to Brooklyn for a hometown show on Saturday night. They opened for Soccer Mommy at a concert presented by Gov Ball After Dark and AdHoc.
After playing songs from their 2018 EP Hate it Here, the group covered “Undone – The Sweater Song,” by alternative giants Weezer.
The quartet, made up of Mia Berrin (lead vocals), Mari Alé Figeman (bass), Shelby Keller (drums) and Alex Mercuri (lead guitar), tossed cut roses into the audience and danced around the stage covered in rose petals while playing their respective instruments.
